We listen, act, and transform
Welcome to therapy, I’m Bridget (she/her/hers)! Whether this is your first time in therapy or you have been through some treatment before, I am here to work in partnership with you to improve your well-being. I use person-centered therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to create individualized treatment for each client.
I graduated from Villanova University with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2017. After graduation, I facilitated an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adolescents. At this Outpatient center, where I also worked with the adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) team, I gained experience working with people of all ages with many different mental health diagnoses and needs. Since moving to Colorado from Pennsylvania, I have been working in private practice.
I use a person-centered and holistic approach to therapy. Each person has the potential to build their own wellness and meet personal goals. It is my belief that each person is capable of growth, self-love, and healing. My goal will be to help you take ownership of your treatment. Together, we will process life events while learning coping skills, which will empower you to manage the symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, and new challenges that you encounter. Mental health education is key, and I love to help my clients learn how to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to improve their skills, learn about themselves, and create the life that they deserve. I am trained and experienced in mindfulness as well.
